In addition to brief theoretical material, the qualitative reactions of the main groups of organic compounds are considered: alcohols and phenols, aldehydes and ketones, carboxylic acids and fats, carbohydrates, etc. Considerable attention is paid to the veterinary and biological focus of the teaching of the material presented. The relevance of the questions posed and the specificity of the answers to them contribute to a better understanding of the material covered. For the training of specialists in higher agricultural educational institutions of III–IV levels of accreditation in the specialty H6– “Veterinary Medicine”. Викладено відповідно до робочої навчальної програми для студентів факультету ветеринарної медицини. Окрім короткого теоретичного матеріалу, розглянуто якісні реакції основних груп органічних сполук: спиртів та фенолів, альдегідів та кетонів, карбонових кислот та жирів, вуглеводів тощо. Значна увага приділяється ветеринарно-біологічній спрямованості викладання представленого матеріалу. Актуальність поставлених питань та конкретність відповідей на них сприяють кращому розумінню викладеного матеріалу.
